Living on the Water

Inspired by a walk along the canal bank, I wanted to look into life living on the water. This transitioned into an exploration of nautical themes. This influenced my choice to experiment with lino weaving as the effect it gives is reminiscent of fishing nets.

This project was a client project for Begg and Co. and ReWeave. We worked with the guidance of Kirsty McDougall on a brief from Begg and Co. with a selection of their waste materials.
